Rocco Joseph Granato, Iii

Rocco Joseph Granato III passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 55. Mr. Granato was a US Army veteran. He worked as a hotel front desk clerk for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in West Chester, PA, and a radio host/co-host at Behind the Bench. Rocco was also a writer NLL content for Philadelphia Wings (NLL), Rochester (NLL), Chesapeake Bayhawks (MLL), Drexel Dragons (NCAA), and a beat writer for InLacrosseWeTrust.com. He loved watching most sports and going to any lacrosse game, but especially Philadelphia Wings lacrosse. Most of all, he just loved spending time with his family and friends. Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 18, 1965, he was a son of the late Rocco Granato Jr. and Louise P. (Toombs) Vona. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 12 years, Jacqueline “Jackie” S. (Hunsicker) Granato; step-father, Carmen A. Vona; step-son, Christopher Strohm; step-daughter, Samantha Strohm; an aunt, an uncle and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to Rocco’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:20am; followed by his Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA at 11:00 am. The Eulogy will start at 10:45 am. Masks and social distancing are required. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.
