Rodger Garthly, 94, of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at his residence.

Rodger was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 8, 1931, and was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Hackney) Garthly.

He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States military during the Korean War. Following his service, Rodger worked for many years in the HVAC field.

Rodger is survived by his children: Bonnie Primavera (Michael), Lynn Baker, Claira Silcox (Jim), and Scott Garthly (Jamie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved girlfriend of 30 years, Janice Gallagher, and by his son, Rodger H. Garthly Jr., who is survived by his wife, Rose.
