Rodney Jones

Rodney Jones passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 71 years old. Born in Gastonia, NC on March 3, 1952, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Lucille (Howard) Jones. He lived in Belmont, NC until 1958 when his family moved to Norristown, PA. He was a graduate of Norristown High School. After high school, Rodney joined the Marine Corps and served for four years during the Vietnam Era. Rodney recently worked for Moog Components in Springfield, PA.

Surviving is Rodney’s loving family including his partner, Theresa Messantonio; brother, Phillip Jones, Sr. and his wife, Janet, of Sanatoga, PA; three nephews, Jeffery, Phillip Jr., and Jason; three nieces, Carly, Dana, and Lorrie; as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

Rodney is preceded in death by his brother Timothy and Timothy’s wife, Margaret.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 from 10:00-11:0am, with his prayer service beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you bring a new, unwrapped toy to Rodney’s service at the Bacchi Funeral Home to place in the Marine Corps Toys for Tots box. If you are unable to attend Rodney’s funeral service you can drop off a toy to Bacchi Funeral Home at a different day or time.
