Romeo G. Callueng, Sr. passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, as the result of an accident in Eddystone, PA. He was 74. Romeo was a resident of Philadelphia and worked as a diesel mechanic. He was kind-hearted, always put others before himself and was a jokester with a big smile. Romeo loved life. He was a hardworker who loved his job and never left a job unfinished. He was a very dedicated and loyal family man who was most proud of his children and grandchildren and cared very deeply for “his best girl”, his beloved wife, Norma. Born in Tumauini, in the Phillipines on September 19, 1943, he was a son of the late Angel T. and Rosalina Q. (Gazzingan) Callueng. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 50 years, Norma (Domingo) Callueng; three sons: Romeo (Susan) Callueng, Jr., Ronel (Stacey) Callueng and Fred (Joann Jenkins) Callueng; four grandchildren: Lauren, Liza, Shannah and Colton; a brother, Edralin Callueng; two sisters, Josefina Vinarao and Juliana Dammog; as well as many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Venancia Abbhuel and Radigunda Dammog. Relatives and friends are invited to Romeo’s viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA at 9:30 am. Interment will be held at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia.
