Ronald A. Franck passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA. He was 76. Mr. Franck was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a computer aided design manager for the former Leeds & Northrup in North Wales, PA. Ronald was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church of Valley Forge, Wayne, PA, and the church's 59er's retirement club. He loved photography, surf fishing, playing bridge and traveling. Ronald enjoyed playing golf and belonged to the Glenhardie Country Club, where he was a member of the MOLS. He loved all sports but softball was his true passion. Mr. Franck was a US Army veteran. Born in Germantown, PA on April 1, 1933, he was a son of the late Otto and Bessie (Simpson) Franck. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Mary Lou (Rippey) Franck; three sons, Stephen M. Franck of King of Prussia, PA, Jeffrey S. Franck and his wife, Karen of E. Norriton, PA and Richard W. Franck and his wife, Cindy of Coatesville, PA; a daughter, Deborah N. Swan and her husband, Jeffrey of W. Chester, PA; four grandchildren: Jessica, Alex, Rebekah and Joshua; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and William.Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church of Valley Forge, 600 Walker Rd., Wayne, PA 19087 on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00am.
