Obituary Ronald J. Godwin Of Wilmington Delaware   Ronald J. Godwin, Age 75 of Wilmington Delaware passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family. He was born in Wilmington to the late Orville and Lizetta Godwin. His sister, Fay Gillespie also preceded him in death. Ronald was a former member of Dupont Country Club, the Brandywine 100 Fire Company, and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He was past president of the Corvette Club of Northern Delaware and was a first connection volunteer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Ron was a shipping supervisor for 33 years for Dupont Edgemoor Plant retiring in 1999. He loved golfing with his friends and anything pertaining to water and flying. Ron was a fun loving man who was willing to help anyone and was known for his great sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Natalie M. Godwin, 3 children, Ronald Anthony Godwin (Pam), Linda Williams (Jim), and Glenn A. Godwin. Ron is also survived by his Sister-In-Law Joanne Boys (Dave), 7 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and by Sue Squires who Ron considered as a daughter.
