Ronald Walter Strassler, 77, of Croydon, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at his residence.

Ronald was born on November 20, 1948, in Spangler, PA, and was the beloved son of the late Naomi (Daugherty) and Walter Strassler.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War as an MT2. Throughout his military career, Ronald was recognized for his dedication and service, earning the First Good Conduct Award for the period ending October 1, 1975, as well as the SSBN Deterrent Patrol Insignia.

Ronald is survived by his wife Rita Strassler; beloved daughters, Susan Strassler, Melissa Means; cherished sons, Christopher Strassler, and Daniel Strassler. He is also survived by 7 grandsons and 1 granddaughter

He is preceded in death by his parents Naomi & Walter Strassler and his Grandson John Plotcher
