Ron, 89, passed away peacefully on the 20th of April, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many, he lived a long and fulfilling life, marked by love, resilience, and generosity- leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness.
Born and raised in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Abington High School before continuing his education at West Chester University. A man of strong values and an unmatched work ethic, His career began as an ironworker, mastering a trade that demanded both strength and skill, with determination and a strong work ethic, he went on to establish his own successful family business—a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit, hard work and dedication.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ron, was a man of community involvement. A proud and dedicated member of the Rotary Club, he served as president, always striving to give back and make a difference. He was also a 30-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous, where he inspired and supported countless individuals on their journeys to recovery.
In his free time, he embraced life’s simple pleasures. He was happiest with a golf club in hand, a bowling ball knocking down a few pins, a “friendly” game of cards, cheering on the Phillies or Eagles, tinkering around in his garage, smoking a cigar, chatting it up with friends and neighbors, or enjoying a day at the beach, he found joy in the little moments. A lifelong reader, he was always eager to lose himself in a good book. His adventurous spirit took him on many travels, and wherever he went, he brought laughter, stories, and a deep appreciation for the journey. Through it all, his beloved dog, Jake, was by his side – a loyal companion who brought him endless happiness.
Above all, our Dad, was a family man. He found his greatest joy in his loved ones, cherishing every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and extended family. He was a source of wisdom, humor, and unconditional love, always ready with a warm embrace, a word of encouragement, or a story to share.
To know that we could never fail in his eyes was a gift that was never lost on us. He was our biggest cheerleader!
