Rosalie A. Fox

Rosalie A. Fox, 103, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Bensalem, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on May 6, 1921, to the late Rose M. (Crookston) and Francis DeSales Kelly, Rosalie lived a life full of love and joy. She was the beloved wife of Harry C. Fox, and they are now reunited.

Rosalie’s life was a testament to her devotion to family. She and Harry were blessed with six wonderful children who were her pride and joy. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Rosalie inspired all who knew her to live long, active, and happy lives.

Rosalie was a lifelong volunteer, devoting much time to St. Timothy School, Aid for Friends, Fox Chase Cancer Center and the Breathing Room Foundation. Rosalie loved reading, gardening, painting and traveling and made many friends along the way.

She is survived by her six children: Carol E. Barrett of Bensalem, Joan T. Morley of Bensalem, Stephen P. (Kate) of Mount Laurel, NJ, Dennis J. of Bensalem, Mary R. Couzens of London, and Angela F. Burke (Ed) of Elkins Park. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Rosalie is predeceased by her husband, Harry; five siblings; son-in-law John P. Morley; and grandson Jonathan M. Morley.

Family and friends are invited to Rosalie’s viewing on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:0 AM at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her memorial service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rosalie’s memory can be made to Philabundance, 3616 South Galloway St., Philadelphia, PA 19148 (giving@philabundance.org) to help end hunger.
