Rose E. Ferrier of Eagleville, PA passed away peacefully at home September 22, 2021, at age 93. Born July 20, 1928, in North Wales, PA, Rose was the daughter of the late Luther K. and Mary E. (Swartz) Siegfried of Quakertown, PA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Fred Ferrier (married 58 years). She was the loving mother of the late Robert C. Ferrier of Norristown, PA (survived by his wife Teresa) and the late Sharon Carpenter of Pottstown, PA. She was the devoted grandmother of Robert C. Ferrier, Jr. and his wife Xiaowen and a great grandmother to grandsons Robert C. Ferrier III and Maximilian Yi Tang of Okemos, MI. Rose is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her brothers, Luther B. Siegfried (Eva-late) of Red Hill, PA, Harvey L. Siegfried (Mary) of Albuquerque, N.M., and John Siegfried (Barbara) of Souderton, PA and her sister, Emmaline Berkleback (John) of Hatfield, PA. Before Rose got married, she worked at Spillane’s Variety Store in Lansdale at the soda fountain counter, Godshall’s Variety Store in Telford, and at the Telford Pant Company. Rose met her future husband at a roller-skating rink in West Point in August of 1953 and got married the next June. They settled on Hollywood Avenue in Trooper, PA until 2005, when they moved to Eagleville, PA. After getting married, Rose became a homemaker. She was an avid doll collector and doll maker, sewing all their outfits. Rose was an excellent cook and loved to entertain during the holidays and travel with her family. She was also an artsy, crafty kind of gal. Relatives and friends are invited to Rose’s visitation Monday, October 4, 2021, from 5:45 - 7:15 pm and to her religious service at 7:15 pm at the Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, P.C. 101 N Park Ave. (Rte 363) Trooper, PA., 19403.
