Gasbarra Rose Mary (Ro) , 89, formerly of Abington, PA, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 peacefully at St. Mary Manor. Rose was born on June 28, 1930, a daughter of the late Angelina Campoli and Mariano Gasbarra. She previously lived in Brooklyn, NY for 28 years. Rose is survived by two sons: William (Celeste) Fornicola and his children, Dana Hayward (Dylan) and Michael Fornicola (Jenn) and their son, Rocco, and by Michael Tropiano and his children, Ann Marie, Christine and Victoria. Dear sister of Angie and the late Frank, Barbara Lamina, Mario and Mary Martella. Rose was a former member of Our Lady Help of Christians in Abington, PA and was an active member of Gloria Dei Towers where she was their community photographer and would always be recognized by her red hair and large rings. She worked as a waitress for 50 years, 10 of them at the Willow Inn in Willow Grove before retiring. Rose was a longtime member of the Sons of Italy and was very proud of her Italian heritage. She was a creative artist who worked with clay, oil paintings, pastels and etched on glass.Her Family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, March 4th from 9-9:50 AM and celebrate her funeral mass at 10AM both at Our Lady Help of Christians 1500 Marian Rd. Abington, PA 19001.Her interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady Help of Christians. Services entrusted to the Joseph J.
