Rose (Pluguez) Kaminski passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Keystone Hospice in Wyndmoor, PA. She was 93. Rose was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked in the circulation department of TV Guide. Rose was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia and the Upper Merion Senior Center. She enjoyed the outdoors, sunshine, dancing, driving, traveling and music, especially Elvis. Rose was one of the original “Rosie the Riveters” during WW II. Her favorite movie was West Side Story because it reflected the story of her and her husband, Frank. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 31, 1924, she was the wife of the late Frank J. Kaminski, who died in 1995. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Joseph J. Kaminski and his wife, Beverly, of Port Orange, FL; a daughter, Rosemarie D. Hanley and her husband, Noble, of King of Prussia, PA; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise Smith of Orlando, FL; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank J. Kaminski, Jr. Rose’s Graveside Service will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose’s memory to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 and/or the Upper Merion Senior Service Center, 431 W.
