Rose M. (Ballone) Coscia

Rose M. (Ballone) Coscia passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 97. Rose was a member of Sacred Heart Church and a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, both in Bridgeport, PA.

Born on November 2, 1926 in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Candelore) Ballone. Rose was the wife of the late Francis “Chubby” A. Coscia who died in 2023.

Surviving is her loving family including a son, Salvatore J. Coscia and his wife, Casey of Lansdale, PA; 2 sisters, Florence A. Cerio and Christine Crawford; her caretaker of 10 years, Tasha Miller; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Beth Palonicola; 3 brothers: Raymond Jack, and Nicholas Ballone.

Rose’s family will receive relatives and friends at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:20am, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Entombment will be at St. Augustine Cemetery Mausoleum in King of Prussia, PA.
