Rose Marie R. Drummy

Rose Marie R. (Armstrong) Drummy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. She was 87. Mrs. Drummy was a resident of Shannondell, Living Community for Seniors, and a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church, both in Audubon, PA. Most important to Rose Marie is that she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also liked playing cards and going to the theatre with her friends. Rose Marie was a loyal, kind, generous person to those close to her. Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 4, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Rose (McTaggert) Armstrong. She was the wife of the late John “Jack” M. Drummy, who died in 1993. Surviving her includes a son, John P. (Sharon) Drummy of Collegeville, PA; two daughters, Rosemarie T. (Michael) Sarro of Kimberton, PA and Christine E. (Vincent) Prinzo of Douglassville, PA; six grandchildren: Stephanie Shoup, Andrea Lanigan, Michael Sarro III, Anthony Prinzo, Alyssa Drummy and Christina Prinzo; six great-grandchildren: Gabrielle, Gavin, Michael, Jimmy, Tyler and Anna; a brother, George Armstrong of Ocean City, NJ; a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Brealey of Exton, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Loretta Jansen and Joan Connelly; and a brother, Hugh Armstrong, Jr. Relatives & friends are invited to Rose Marie’s Funeral Mass at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 S. Trooper Rd., Audubon, PA on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 10:00 am, also to pay respects from 8:45 to 9:45 am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose Marie’s memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214 and/or the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Rd., Suite 403, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
