Rose Marie O'Donnell

Rose Marie (Picard) O'Donnell passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, October 22, 2021, at her home in Jeffersonville, PA. She was 94. Mrs. O'Donnell worked as a Registered Nurse for the former Montgomery Hospital & Montgomery Surgical Associates, both in Norristown, PA. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Rose Marie was a nurse in the US Navy, serving as a Lt. JG, during the Korean Conflict. Born in Bridgeport, PA on September 23, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore “Sullivan” and Rose (Branco) Picard; and the wife of the late John F. O’Donnell, who died in 2010. Surviving is her loving family including three sons: Jack (Theresa) O'Donnell, David (Melissa) O'Donnell and Rick (Kristina) O'Donnell; two daughters, Mary Beth (John) Kelly and Sharon (Jeff) Bryers; nine grandchildren: Julie (Patrick) Crater, Jack London (Alicia) O’Donnell, Jake, Hailey and Sydney O'Donnell, Kendall and Ethan Bryers, Morgan and Davis O'Donnell; five great-grandchildren: Maeve and James Crater and Hunter, Alexis and Beckett O'Donnell; three brothers: Carmen (Madeline) Picard, Salvatore (Marlene) Picard and Anthony (Marilyn) Picard; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Ann O'Donnell; and a grandson, Dylan O'Donnell. The family will receive relatives & friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 6 to 8:00 pm; also Thursday morning at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA from 9:30 to 10:20 am; Eulogy at 10:20 am and Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA. The family respectfully asks that if you are not fully vaccinated for Covid-19, that you please wear a mask.
