Rose (D'Ambrosia) Patraw

Rose (D'Ambrosia) Patraw passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at Keystone House in Wyndmoor, PA. She was 87. Mrs. Patraw was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as a foreman for the former Krylon Paint Co. in Norristown, PA and Hosey's in Bridgeport, PA. Rose was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Bridgeport, PA on August 8, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Rosaria (Cantello) D'Ambrosia. She was the wife of the late Irvin "Pat" Patraw. Surviving are her loving family including four sisters, Mary A. Gilette, Louise R. Lance, Julia D. Gilette and her husband, Louis and Theresa D. Alessandrini, all of Bridgeport, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, James D'Ambrosia. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 10:00am. Her viewing is Monday morning from 8 to 9:20am, at the funeral home. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Fund, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and/or Keystone House, 8765 Stenton Ave., Wyndmoor, PA 19150.
