Rose M. Schwartz Rose M. Schwartz (nee Venneri) 94, of Meadowbrook, PA, formerly of Tacony, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 peacefully, at St. Joseph Manor. Rose was born in Mangone, Italy, on April 13, 1923, a daughter of the late Antoinetta (Mauro) and Giuseppe Venneri. She was the widow of Adam J. Schwartz. She was a lifetime member of St. Leo the Great Church in Philadelphia, PA. She had worked as an Instrument Maker at SS White Dental. Rose had a great zest for life and had many friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. She loved being a homemaker, gardening, was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed cooking great meals for family and friends, and she loved to sing and dance. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Adam J., The loving mother of Lorraine Rayca (Richard), and James (Adrienne) both of Philadelphia and Deborah Miller (Joseph) of Pittsfield, MA. She was the devoted Grandmother of 5 Grandchildren; Richard Rayca (Kathy), Nicole Arwood (Rick), Alicia Smyrlian (Gary), Joseph A. Miller (Erin) and Kevin Miller (Danielle) and 7 Great Grandchildren; Jillian, Isabella, Matthew, Mia, Lily, Zoey and Mackenzie. Dear sister of the late Yolanda Casey and Joseph Venneri. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 10:30 to 11:20 AM and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM both at St. Joseph’s Manor 1616 Huntingdon Pike in Meadowbrook, PA 19046. Her Interment will be at St. Dominic Cemetery Philadelphia, PA.
