Roseann Marie Hood

Roseann Marie Hood August 7, 1956 – November 20, 2020 Roseann Marie Hood, 64, of Willow Grove and formerly of Jenkintown, PA, passed away on Friday, November 20th, 2020 surrounded by her family at home. Roseann was born in Pottstown, PA on August 7, 1956, a daughter of the late Stella (Parastino) and Edward Leon Drost. She was the beloved wife of the late Christopher Robin Hood, Sr. Roseann is survived by her sons, eldest Christopher Robin Hood, Jr. of Pittstown, NJ, and his wife Siobhan M. and their son Christopher “Tripp” Robin Hood, III, and youngest Brian D. Hood, of Philadelphia, PA and his fiancé, Kait A. Folweiler. Roseann is also survived by her siblings William G. Drost, of Allentown, PA, Francis R. Drost, of Pottsgrove, PA, and Joan C. Prussack, of Boyertown, PA. She was employed as a Lab Technician at Holy Redeemer, starting in 1976, where she spent the next 44 years of her career. Roseann (also known as “Bud”) loved her many friends and enjoyed travel and adventure. She loved music, her pets (dog, Eden, and cats, Tigger, Autumn, and Lilly), horses, and a good glass of wine. She loved spending time with her new grandson, Tripp, who she described as her “greatest gift.” She will be remembered as a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be in effect. A private religious service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 28th at Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, in Jenkintown, PA for family and close friends (invite only) due to Covid-19 restrictions.
