Roseann M. (Prestia) Melle

Roseann M. (Prestia) Melle passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2011, at her home in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, where she had resided for the past 8 years. She was 68. Mrs. Melle was a previous resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as a retail clerk at Boscov's Department Store in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ. Roseann was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on March 26, 1943, she was a daughter of Veronica (Paul) Prestia of Norristown, PA and the late Anthony Prestia. She was the wife of the late John J. Melle, Jr., who died in 2000. Surviving is her loving family including her mother; a son, Anthony S. Melle and his wife, Bernadette of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Roseann T. Melle of Elkins Park, PA; four grandchildren, Kierra & Toni Melle and Jackie & Elizabeth Ippoliti; a brother, James Prestia and his wife, Ellie of Limerick, PA; a sister, Carlena Piazza of Limerick, PA; a brother-in-law, David Melle and his wife, Gerry of Bridgeport, PA; a sister-in-law, Donna Melle McFeeters and her husband, Frank of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Prestia. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St. Bridgeport, PA on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11:00am. Her viewing is Friday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
