Rosemary Broton

Rosemary (Rosie) Broton, 85, of Levittown, PA, formerly of Bensalem, PA 19020, passed away on Sunday, September 27th, 2020 while in the company of family, at her residence. Rosemary was born in Coaldale, PA on May 17, 1935, a daughter of the late Anna (Zelnick) and Joseph Kushnerick. She was sister of the late Edmund and Joseph Kushnerick, and the late Ann Donahue, and step mother of the late Bobby J Broton and the late Lawrence K Broton. She was the widow of Robert Broton who passed in 1989. She had started out as a hair salon owner in Hazleton, PA and then had worked as a bookkeeper for IGA Grocery Store in Conyngham, PA and at Northtec located in Bristol, PA. She really had nothing but love for her family and friends. She loved to crochet and do other crafts for people especially babies. Also she enjoyed being a part of Catholic Daughters and helping them out. Rosie is survived by her loving sister Josephine Kushnerick, Josephine’s daughter Stephanie Bobst whom she resided with, her 3 great nieces Nichole, Allison and Jaclyn and great nephew William, and great great nephew Brantley and great great Niece Braelynn also one step daughter, 3 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, 6 nieces, 3 nephews and lots of other family. Rosie was a great Daughter, Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, Friend, and all around wonderful person. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 10 AM until 10:45 AM and to her Funeral Mass at 11 AM, both on Friday, October 2nd, 2020 at St. Ephrem Church 5400 Hulmeville Rd. in Bensalem, PA . Her interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA. In Lieu of flowers donations toward her funeral costs, in her honor and family’s appreciation may be made to the family.
