Rosemary G. (Nolan) Linahan

Rosemary G. (Nolan) Linahan passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. She was 85. Mrs. Linahan was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA, where she was a member of the Altar Society and the choir. Rosemary sang for funerals at the church and many other parishes. She was also a member of the Archdiocesan Choir and sang for Pope John Paul II in 1979 in Philadelphia and in 1988 in the Vatican. She also sang at the Memorial Mass for Grace Kelly at the Cathedral in Monaco. She was also a member of the King of Prussia Seniors. Rosemary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 4, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Anna (Dressel) Nolan. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 55 years, Thomas C. "Tom" Linahan; three sons: David V. Linahan of Aston, PA, Stephen J. Linahan and his wife, Linda of King of Prussia, PA and Paul T. Linahan and his wife, Mary Kay of Collegeville, PA; three daughters: Diane Linahan of Audubon, PA, Jeanette Linahan of King of Prussia, PA and Loretta Boyle and her husband, Tim of King of Prussia, PA; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; two sisters, Loretta Nolan of Oreland, PA and Anne Kiester of Hatfield, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Nolan.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd. King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Her viewings will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405; and also Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rosemary's memory to Camilla Hall, 1145 W.
