Rosemary Michel

Rosemary Michel, 96, of Horsham, PA passed away peacefully Friday, November 11th, 2022.

Rosemary was born in Abington, PA on July 15, 1926, the daughter of the late Rose (Weldon) and Bernard Donohue. She had three brothers Bernard, John, and Joe. Rosemary graduated from Abington High School in 1944.

She was the widow of Richard H. Michel; they were married for 52 years from October 1949 to his death in 2001.

She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Horsham, PA where she volunteered for many years to hold vigil in the chapel one night each week.

Rosemary had worked as an Administrative Assistant at Weight Watchers for over 40 years, retiring in 2019.

Rosemary is survived by her sons: Scott (Lynn) Michel of Horsham, PA; Robert (Eileen deceased) Michel of Warrington, PA; and Jeffrey (Emily) Michel of Tequesta, FL; her six grandchildren: Matthew (Katie) Michel of Doylestown, PA; Brian (Ilana Feldman) Michel of Queens, NY; John (Colleen) Michel of Maple Glen, PA; Jacqueline (Gene) Murphy of Blue Bell, PA; Ella Rose (Kyle) Chapin of Clearwater, FL; and preceded in death by Samuel Michel. She is also survived by five great grandchildren: Brooks, Molly, Mackenzie, Keegan, and Erin.

Family will receive relatives and friends from 10 AM to 10:50 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 11 AM, both on Wednesday, November 16th, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Rd. in Horsham, PA 19044.

Rosemary’s interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following the Mass.
