Roslyn N. “Roz” Cirino, age 80, a well-known and loved singer and soloist who was a longtime resident of King of Prussia, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at her son’s residence in Royersford, PA. Roz was a professional singer and dedicated soloist at Mother of Divine Providence Church. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Martin Marietta/Lockheed Corporations in King of Prussia. Roz dedicated her spare time to family and friends and her passion for music, singing in big bands and several musical groups throughout the region. Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 5, 1935, Roz had a passion for people and made friends quite easily throughout her life. She wants to be remembered as a dedicated mother and wife first; but her care and passion for life and influence on everyone she met will be remembered most. Roz made a profound impact on many lives throughout her singing career as a soloist for the Al Raymond Big Band and several musical groups performing concerts and shows at venues throughout the Tri-state area for more than 40 years. In addition, Roz was also the musical director and cantor at Mother of Divine Providence Church in King Prussia and sang weddings and funerals in many Catholic churches in the area. Roz expanded her love of entertainment and for people by working as a perfume model at various department stores in the King of Prussia Mall and as an emcee for the American Cancer Society Fashion Shows. Roz was an excellent cook and enjoyed winters in Florida with family and friends. Roz was a daughter of the late Gerald L. and Dorothy P. (Piselli) Leo. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Cirino, Sr., who died in 2008. Surviving is her loving family including four sons: Joseph J. (Lonni) Cirino, Jr. of Phoenixville, PA, Michael F. (Sue) Cirino of Collegeville, PA, Thomas J. (Patricia) Cirino of Royersford, PA and Paul R. Cirino of King of Prussia, PA; eight grandchildren: Thomas, Andrew, Brianna, Kristina, Michael, Daniel, Summer and Heather; two brothers, Gerald A. "Bud" (Mary Alice) Leo of Collegeville, PA and Albert J. (Barbara) Leo of Gongales, LA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Leo; and two sisters, Dolores Leo and Elizabeth Leo. Family and friends are welcome to join in the celebration of her life and Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 12:00 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 9 to 11:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.
