Roy Rhubright Iii

On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, Roy O. Rhubright III passed away at the age of 26. And Roy was born on April 1, 1993, in Hatfield, PA to Roy O. Rhubright II and Rachel Garges. He graduated from Pennridge High School, and went on to work for the North Penn School District for seven years. He is survived by his mother, Rachel Garges; his father, Roy Rhubright II; his brother, Fisher Rhubright; his paternal grandmother and step grandfather, Carolyn (Scheib) and Frederick Fung; Great aunt, Shirley Garges; Aunts, Cindy (Stephen) Walters, Crystal (Brian) Pursell, Rhoda (Jonathan) Duong, Linda (Jim) Jereb, Jennifer Rhubright; Cousins, Matthew Walters; Ken, John and Nichole Charlton; Jonny and Sophia Duong; Aiden Waldeck; step cousins, Jeff and Jon Pursell; and several second cousins. Roy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roy O. Rhubright I, and maternal grandparents, Loretta Marion (Huber) and John Garges. Roy enjoyed woodworking with his Grandpop Garges, listening to music and playing his guitar. He was also an avid reader. When he didn’t have his nose buried in a book, he loved playing video games and hanging out with his friends. Roy was gone too soon. He was dearly loved and he will be greatly missed.
