Russell S. “Razu” Desimone passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was 61. Mr. Desimone was a life-long resident of Bridgeport, PA. He was a chef and part owner of the former Desimone's Cafe in Bridgeport, along with his brothers, Carmen and David. He worked for the past 2 years at Pepper’s Italian Restaurant in King of Prussia. Russell was a member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, PA and a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport. He was also a member of the former Triple S Sportsman Club in Bridgeport and he was an avid fisherman. Born in Norristown, PA on May 4, 1955, he was a son of the late Carmen M. Desimone, Jr. and Rose M. (Beluch) Desimone. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 27 years, Lorraine (Puleo) Desimone; two daughters, Mariel G. Desimone of Bridgeport and Lauren R. Castle and her husband, Joshua, of Bridgeport; four grandchildren: Sean, Ethan, Brianna & Sebastian; a brother, Carmen M. Desimone and his wife, Maria, of Turnersville, PA; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a son, Damian Castle; and a brother, David P. Desimone. The family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4 to 8:00 pm. Russell’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown, PA on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Msgr. Charles Sangermano, Pastor.
