Russell 'Larry' Campman Iii

Russell Lawrence Campman III Russell “Larry” Campman III age 76 of Pottstown, formerly of Trooper passed away on Tuesday, April 9th at Pottstown Hospital.  Larry was born in Norristown to the late Russell and Mildred (nee Wickes) Campman, Jr.  He graduated from Norristown H.S. in 1954, received a BS in pharmacy from Phila. College of Pharmacy and Science in 1958 and then served in the US Army Reserves.  He worked for various Montgomery County pharmacies throughout his career.  Larry was a member of Montgomery County Pharmaceutical Association of PA, American Pharmaceutical Association, Lower Perkiomen Chapter Kiwanis, Farmers Union Horse Company of Fairview Village, PA, attended St. Andrew’s Lutheran of Audubon and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and driving dialysis patients.  He was interested in genealogy and was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution through his paternal grandmother’s ancestors Christian Moyer, Michael Bauer, John Stauffer and Peter Moyer and the of the Huguenot Society of Pennsylvania through her ancestor Johannes Landes (Landis). He is also descended from Daniel Campman Sr., who fought in the Revolution in the Philadelphia Militia.  Larry also enjoyed gardening, swimming, and studying history. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Anna M. (nee Sagrantz) Campman.  He is survived by his brother, Jonathan W. Campman; sister-in-law, Lorraine Crist-Campman; niece, Amber L. Campman and step-daughter Joan D’Orazio. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service 11 AM Friday, May 17th at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 2725 Egypt Rd., Audubon, PA, where friends may call after 10 AM.  In lieu of flower sent to St. Andrew’s, if you prefer to make a memorial donation to your local SPCA, it would be appreciated. Private interment will be in New Goshenhoppen Church Cemetery, East Greenville, PA, through Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, Trooper, PA.   Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service 11 AM Friday, May 17th at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 2725 Egypt Rd., Audubon, PA, where friends may call after 10 AM.  In lieu of flower sent to St. Andrew’s, if you prefer to make a memorial donation to your local SPCA, it would be appreciated.
