Ruth W. (Hendricks) Hansley

Ruth W. (Hendricks) Hansley passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at her residence in Norristown, PA. She was 82. Ruth worked as a candy maker for the former Minters Candy Company in Bridgeport, PA. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Norristown, PA. Born in Lower Salford Twp., PA on June 13, 1935, she was a daughter of the late John D. and Dorothy C. (Godshall) Hendricks. She was the wife of the late Ronald L. Hansley, who died in 2008. Surviving is her loving family including a brother, William E. Hendricks of Pottstown, PA; five sisters: Dorothy M. Cardy of Norristown, PA, Helen L. (Ralph) Bozorth of Ambler, PA, Emma E. Pearson of Norristown, PA, Elsie P. Faust of Jeffersonville, PA and Grace A. (Michael) Carlson of Virginia Beach, VA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo R. and James L. Hendricks. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.
