Ruth M. Volpi

Ruth M. (Martin) Volpi passed away peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at Kindred Hospital in Havertown, PA. She was 86. Mrs. Volpi was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a founding member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company. Born in West Philadelphia, PA on May 18, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Carl R. and Carolyn E. (Clements) Martin. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 66 years, Dino J. Volpi; 4 sons, Dino J. (Carla) Volpi, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, Paul (Patricia) Volpi of King of Prussia, PA, Steven L. (Kimberly) Volpi of Gilbertsville, PA and Michael J. (Kristina) Volpi of Wayne, PA; a daughter, Ruth Ann (Andrew) Andreyko of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; 13 grandchildren: Dino J. III, Louis, Christopher, David, Kelly, Jenna, Jacob, Evan, Michael, Matthew, Robert, Michael and Allison; 5 great-grandchildren: Luca, Kaylee, Mia, Ryan and Koen; a brother, Ralph E. (Carole) Martin of Lewisville, KT; 3 sisters: Helen M. (Stan) Murray of Wildwood Crest, NJ, Eleanor J. (James) Forbes of Somers Point, NJ and Ester Ann Silcox of King of Prussia, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Carl, Robert & Frederick Martin; and 4 sisters: Irene A. Hevener, Carolyn E. Conover, Barbara Martin and Marion Martin. Ruth’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives & friends on Friday morning from 9 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
