Ruthann (Baker) Tomeo

Ruthann (Baker) Tomeo passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Linwood, PA. She was 72. Mrs. Tomeo was a former resident of Norristown, PA. She worked as a selector for Flemings. Ruthann was a graduate of the former Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown. She coached softball for Plymouth Twp. Little League and was associated with the FOP in Conshohocken, PA. Ruthann's life revolved around her loving family.Born in Norristown, PA on September 21, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Erb) Baker. Surviving are her loving family including two sons, Angelo Tomeo and Dominic Tomeo; three daughters: Margaret Sipe, Diane Tomeo and Tanya "Tonie" Tomeo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Baker and Joseph Baker; and many other loving family members. Ruthann's Funeral Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 11 to 12:50 pm, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruthann's memory to the United Cerebral Palsy, 1825 K Street NW, Suite 600, Washington, DC 20006.
