Sabina Apanowicz

Apanowicz, Sabina age 97 of Aston, Pa formerly of Brookhaven, Pa passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2018. She was born in Poland on August 1, 1920. She survived a forced labor camp during WWII in Siberia. She came to the US in 1962 with her husband and 3 children and resided in Chester. She was a seamstress and enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a lifetime member of St. Hedwig RC Church. Sabina was married to Paul Apanowicz who passed away on July 9, 1980. She is survived by 3 children, Theresa Jastrzebski (Don), Mark (Carol) and Zdzislaw (Betsy); 7 grandchildren, Adam (Carol), John, Karl (Apryl), Leah, Eric, Ryan and Paul; 1 great granddaughter, Ella. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 9 to 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Hedwig Church, 4th and Hayes Streets, Chester, Pa 19013. Interment will follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
