Sallie T. (Carden) Lister

Sallie T. (Carden) Lister passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA. She was 93. Mrs. Lister, a homemaker, was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA and the church's senior group. Sallie was a graduate of Villanova University and received her Bachelor's degree at the age of 64.Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 12, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Sarah (McGlinchey) Carden. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Lister, who died in 1986. Surviving are her loving family including a son, Brian E. Lister and his wife, Ann of King of Prussia, PA; two grandchildren, Kelly Colquitt and her husband, Michael and Kevin Lister and his wife, Jennifer; one great-grandson, Jacob; a brother, Edward Carden; and a sister, Mary M. Murray and her husband, Joseph.Relatives & Friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd. King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10:00am. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Interment in SS.
