Samuel F. Bean

February 16, 1927 - September 17, 2022

Samuel is survived by his 5 children, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was married to Alice Bea for 71 years. He died peacefully at home surrounded by family members.

He was born in Kansas but grew up in New Mexico and enlisted in the Navy for the duration of World War II. After graduating from New Mexico State University he moved East to Audubon, Pennsylvania with his family. He provided for his family as an electrical engineer at GE for 46 years.

He was an avid "rock hound" and dedicated servant at Bridgeport Baptist Church. Then helped with the move to the top of the hill to what became Upper Merion Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and continued his service to the functioning of the church.

We, his children, thank our father for giving us a home and taking care of us for all these years until he needed us to take care of him.
