Sandra (Rudyk) Katarynick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years old. Sandi was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA. She was a graduate of the Class of 1964 from South Park High School in Buffalo, NY. She then attended Buffalo State University. Sandi’s main role was raising her family, creating a loving household for her husband and children. She did have many parttime jobs throughout the years such as a bank teller, assistant at a preschool, cleaning for Art’s Top Notch cleaners. Sandi’s favorite parttime gig was caring for her grandchildren, along with other close family friends. She also volunteered over the years in her daughter, Lynn’s, first grade classroom, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Kathryn (Kuchar) Rudyk. She was the beloved wife of Frank T. Katarynick, Jr. for 57 years before his passing in 2024.
Surviving is her loving family including her son, Kevin Katarynick (Linda); two daughters, Lisa Katarynick and Lynn Drumbore (Michael); three grandchildren, Eva Drumbore, Henry Drumbore, and James Wright; her brother, Mark Rudyk (Deborah); sister-in-law, Kathleen Linsenmaier (Richard); as well as many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sandi’s viewing on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 4-6pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405. A visitation will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 10-10:45am at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave. Bridgeport, PA 19405. Her Divine Liturgy will begin at 11am at the church. Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
