Santa Cardone

Santa (Pugliese) Cardone passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at her residence in Bridgeport, PA. She was 72. Santa was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport, PA. Santa was a homemaker, caregiver, and a second mom to everyone. Anyone that met her, fell in love with her. Born in Italy on November 5, 1946, she was a daughter to the late Antonio and Anna (Minuto) Pugliese. Surviving are her loving family including her husband, Michael Cardone; a daughter, Ester Cardone; a godson, Lorenzo Mancino; two sisters-in-law, Amelia and Franca Pugliese; a brother-in-law, Pasquale Cardone and his wife, Sandy; two sisters-in-law, Elvira Forcellini and Rita Lombardo and her husband, Raymond; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Albert, Mario, and Benvenuto Pugliese; three sisters: Giovanna Modafferi and her husband, Bruno, Carmela Langendorf, and Giuseppina Prattico and her husband, Ignazio. Relatives and friends are invited to Santa’s Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. Her viewings will be on Friday night from 7 to 9:00 pm, and Saturday morning from 9 to 10:15 am, both at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. (Rt 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405.
