Sarah G. Blankenhorn

Sarah G. (Geller) Blankenhorn passed away peacefully on Monday, August 1, 2016 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 91. Sarah was an avid reader, enjoyed politics and traveling. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Born in Chicago, IL on January 23, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Bessie (Laderman) Geller. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 70 years, Thomas Blankenhorn; a daughter, Madeleine Dabbeekeh of Phoenixville, PA; a son, Tom Blankenhorn and his partner, Michele Potter, of Taos, NM; four grandchildren: Jeremy and Adam Dabbeekeh, Sara Johnston and Elizabeth Payne; seven great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Noah, Nathan, Ethan, Jackson, Augustus and Elijah; a sister, Rose Sterling of Piscataway, NJ; four nephews and one niece. Sarah was preceded in death by a sister, Celia Shuman; and her son-in-law, Bassim Dabbeekeh. Relatives and friends are invited to Sarah’s Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:30 am.
