Life and Legacy of Sharone Elena Jones On Friday May 1st, 2020, the Lord called one of His beloved children home. Sharone Elena Jones, 65 of Lawrenceville, New Jersey peacefully passed away. Born in Brooklyn, New York on July 26, 1954, she moved to Pennsylvania and was a lifelong resident of the Bensalem/Langhorne area for over 35 years. Upon re-locating to Bensalem, Sharone embraced the Training realm as her niche, which resulted in a lasting career with UFLIC/GE as a Training Specialist for over 32 years. She then embarked on a new career within the Mortgage industry with Cenlar FSB as a Corporate Trainer, where she was employed until she became ill. Sharone took pride in teaching valuable skills and consistently imparted knowledge to others. Sharone was an avid lover of cultural arts as well as horticulture and interior design; she took great pride in decorating and creating feng shui in her living space and was always willing to lend a hand to family/friends with advice whenever needed. Additionally, she loved to visit antique and collectible shops to seek out hidden treasures. Wanting to explore her passion for literature, Sharone started a Book Club in 2014 which would later blossom into a tight knit circle of friends affectionately known as “The Readin’ Chics”. This group has continued to flourish and was one of Sharone’s greatest pastimes. Leaving to cherish precious memories are her beloved mother, Annie Forbes of Queens NY, her two daughters Porsha Green of Binghamton NY; Rasheedah (Whitney) Adams of Levittown, PA; two sisters, Diane White (Horace) of Yeadon, PA; Beatrice Blissett (Michael) of Queens, NY and one brother, Benjamin Forbes of Binghamton, NY, 6 grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and special lifelong friends. A private visitation will be held Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at the Hoffmann Funeral Home, Bensalem, PA. Her private service will be held at 10 AM. Her services will be live streamed.
