Sharyn R. Metzger

Sharyn R. Metzger passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at her residence in Glenmoore, PA. She was 36. Mrs. Metzger worked as a teacher for the Downingtown School District. She was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Church in Wayne, PA. Sharyn was very involved with many activities with her family and her community. Born in Norristown, PA on May 14, 1979, she was a beloved daughter of John E. “Jack” and Barbara C. (Levings) Hedgecock of Wayne, PA, and the wife of 4 years of Christopher J. Metzger. Also surviving is a daughter, Adlai E. Metzger of Glenmoore, PA; two step-sons, Jacob A. and Eric A. Metzger and a step-daughter, Sarah A. Metzger, all of Honey Brook, PA; two sisters, Barbara (Joseph Paolino) King and Briana (Jordan) Harris, both of Wayne, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, John E. Hedgecock. Relatives & friends are invited to Sharyn’s Funeral Mass at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 50 W. Walker Rd., Wayne, PA on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sharyn’s memory for her daughter at the Adlai E.
