Stella Panaccio

Stella (Zakarewski) Panaccio, of King of Prussia, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church and served as a past president of their Women’s Guild. Stella was a loving wife and mother and was devoted to her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 6, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Matilda (Stiklus) Zakarewski. She was the wife of the late Joseph Panaccio, who died in 1990. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Anthony J. (Carol) Panaccio of Jeffersonville, PA; three daughters: Lorraine Panaccio of Pottstown, PA, Maureen P. (Thomas) Aiken of Exton, PA and Christine P. (Martin) Cipollone of West Chester, PA; eleven grandchildren: Melissa, Brian, Janice, Colleen, Karen, Jessica, Laura, Michael, Christine, Jennifer and Alison; six great-grandchildren: Trey, Ella, Hagen, Bennett, Patrick and Addison; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Zakarewski; and two sisters, Anna Koenig and Mary Wal. Relatives & friends are invited to Stella’s Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Her viewing will be Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stella’s memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214 and/or the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
