Stephen D. Amrein

Stephen D. Amrein, 78, of Bensalem, PA  passed away Friday, April 30th, 2021 peacefully at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Stephen was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 12, 1942.  He was the son of the late Marie (Waterman) and Edward Amrein and twin brother of Edward Amrein Jr.  Stephen was the husband of Mary Jane Abbott Amrein.  They were married for 56 years.  He is also survived by two daughters Maureen and Leigh and 4 grandchildren: Ryan, Erica, Alicia, and Aidan. He graduated from Father Judge High School in 1961 and served in the U.S. Navy as a Quarter Master from 1962-1964. Stephen retired as a teacher of auto body and painting at De La Salle Vocational School after 24 years. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday, May 18th from 10:30-11:30 AM and his service at 11:30 AM both at the Hoffmann Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave. Bensalem, PA.
