Stephen J. Berkezchuk

Stephen J. Berkezchuk passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Santa Barbara College Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. He was 54. Mr. Berkezchuk was a former resident of Norristown, PA. He was a former member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA. Stephen worked in the food service industry.Mr. Berkezchuk was a US Air Force veteran.Born in Norristown, PA on March 31, 1957, he was a son of the late Stephen and Regina R. "Jean" (Eckert) Berkezchuk. Surviving is his loving family including four brothers: Michael B. Berkezchuk and his wife, Janice of Lutz, FL, William J. Berkezchuk of White Haven, PA, James T. Berkezchuk of Salford Station, PA and Joseph P. Berkezchuk and his wife, Kim of Quakertown, PA; one sister, Jean M. Volpe and her husband, Dexter of Royersford, PA; and many nephews and nieces. Relatives & friends are invited to his Divine Liturgy at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ronald Popivchak, Pastor. His viewing is Friday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Interment in SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery, King of Prussia.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stephen's memory to SS.
