Stephen D. Keeley, faithful husband of Margaret Ann (Booz) Keeley, passed away quietly on Saturday, March 14, 2020, surrounded by his loving family at Suburban Community Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. He was 67. Mr. Keeley graduated in 1970 from AD Eisenhower High School. He worked for Montgomery County as Director of Emergency Communications for 42 years before retiring. Steve was currently working part time in the IT Department of Montgomery County. He was a life member, President and Secretary of the Fairmount Engine Co. #2 in Norristown, where he served in many other positions. He was also a member of E. Norriton Fire Co. and Jefferson Fire Co. Steve was house chairman of the Maenner-Chor Club in Norristown. He was also a past President and Life Member of APCO. He was a member of the Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Church. Steve’s grandchildren were his greatest enjoyment. Born in Norristown, PA on August 26, 1952, he was a son of the late William and Grace E. (Stitt) Keeley. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Rogalski and Cheryl Keeley; and his beloved son, Stephen Christopher Keeley. As well as his loving wife Margaret of 45 years, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann; two grandchildren, Alaysia and Kristopher Keeley; and many nephews and nieces. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 10 to 11:00 am. A Fireman’s Procession, which is open to family and friends, will lead to a Graveside Service at George Washington Memorial Park, Stenton Ave. & Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steve’s memory to trust fund for his grandchildren.
