Stephen V. Tarloski

Stephen V. Tarloski passed away suddenly on Friday, December 9, 2011 at his residence in Swedesburg, PA. He was 63. Mr. Tarloski was the owner and operator of Nationwide Discount Transmissions in Bridgeport, PA. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Swedesburg, PA, where he worked at their annual festival. Stephen was also a member of the church's Holy Name Society and a lifetime member of the Swedesburg Fire Company #49. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles sports fan. He graduated from Sacred Heart School, Bishop Kenrick High School and he attended Temple University.Mr. Tarloski was a proud US Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era. Born in Norristown, PA on February 14, 1948, he was a son of the late Stephen L. and Jean A. (Jablonski) Tarloski. Surviving is his loving family including his fiancée, Barbara Greenberg; two aunts, Ceil (Jablonski) Michalski and her husband, Albin and Sue Tarloski; and many cousins from the Tarloski and Jablonski families.Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 12noon at Stephen's home, 801 Washington St., Swedesburg, PA 19405.
