Steven A. Escott

Steven A Escott of Gilbertsville, PA passed away suddenly on March 23. He is survived by his wife, Maya Escott, children Ivan, Anastasia and Jonathan, father, Arthur K. Escott, sister Jennifer L. Malik, nephew and niece, Alexander Eliasen and Emily Smith and extended family. He is predeceased by his mother Elenore L. Escott. Steve graduated from Sterling High School in Somerdale, NJ in 1990. He left NJ to enter the US Airforce Academy to persue his dream of becoming a fighter pilot, but God had a different plan. After suffering an injury, he left the Airforce Academy and began a new life as a computer programer. It was there that his true purpose in life began. This is where he met his wife, Maya. Though his passion for flying never left him, a new passion, being a father and family man became his focus. Anyone who knew him knew how much he loved him. He will be sorely missed. Rest easy Steve.
