Steven M. Siemienski, 45, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on February 29, 2024. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on May 12, 1978, Steven was a cherished son of John P. Siemienski and the late Doreen E. Siemienski (nee Ancheta). Steven leaves behind his wife, Sandy (nee Antar); father, John; brother, John (Danielle); and a large circle of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend Steven’s memorial visitation on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 9:00am - 10:30am followed by 10:30am prayer service at Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave., Jenkintown, PA 19046.
Private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, PA.
Known for his sharp wit, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to helping others, Steven left an indelible mark on all who knew him. A proud alumnus of Northeast Catholic High School, Class of 1996, he furthered his education at Mercyhurst University. There, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2002, fueling his passion for the intricate connection between the human body and mind. Steven's career in Sports Medicine was distinguished by his innovative, empathetic approach to resistance training and rehabilitation, where he became a mentor and friend to many.
Steven's love for music and sports was a testament to his zest for life. A fan who attended nearly 100 live performances of his favorite bands like Pearl Jam and Tool, he also embodied the spirit of Philadelphia as a fervent supporter of the Eagles. His avid reading, especially in psychology and sports science, was more than a pastime; it was a way of connecting with and enriching the lives of those around him through lively discussions and profound insights.
Steven’s remarkable legacy of kindness, intellectual curiosity, and humor will forever remain in our hearts. He leaves a void impossible to fill, yet his memory will continue to inspire and comfort us all.
