Sunday A. Della Pietra

Domenica A. "Sunday" Della Pietra passed away suddenly on Monday, April 2, 2012 at her residence in Bridgeport, PA. She was 60. Ms. Della Pietra worked as a manager for Sally's Beauty Supply store in Devon, PA. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Sunday was a wonderful friend and neighbor who touched the hearts of many. She was a loving nurturer who took care of her parents and she especially loved her cats. Born in Norristown, PA on August 25, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Alphonsus and Mildred (Galanti) Della Pietra. Surviving is a brother, Albert J. Della Pietra and his wife, Marilynn (Trave), of Norristown, PA; a niece, Amanda; and a nephew, Christopher. Sunday's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10:00am. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church.
