Susan (Donnelly) Harris

Susan (Donnelly) Harris passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Norristown, PA. She was 63. Mrs. Harris worked as a teacher's aide for Norristown High School for 16 years. She was a member of Visitation B.V.M. Church in Trooper, PA. Susan enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 15, 1951, she was a daughter of Helen M. (Collins) Donnelly of Philadelphia, PA and the late William E. Donnelly. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 45 years, David A. Harris, Sr.; a son, Col. David A. (Ashley) Harris, Jr. of Burke, VA; two daughters, Wendy (Robert) Romano of Norristown, PA and Victoria (Charles) Custer of Collegeville, PA; six grandchildren: William, Delaney, Scott, Haley, Kristina and Madison; and a nephew, Robert Donnelly. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Donnelly.Susan's Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 10 to 10:50 am.
