Susan J. Strauss

Susan J. Strauss passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her residence in Norristown, PA. She was 45. Ms. Strauss worked as a telephone operator for Allendale Answering Service in King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of Conshohocken United Methodist Church and a former member of the Goodwill Fire Co. and the fire company's Ladies Auxiliary in Bridgeport, PA. Susan may be remembered for her dedication and love for her nieces and her beautiful singing voice.Born in Norristown, PA on May 11, 1968, she was a beloved daughter of John F. "Jack" Strauss, Jr. of Norristown, PA and Diane L. (Shaw) Strauss-Ridge of Coatesville, PA. Also surviving is two sisters, Karen L. Redcay of Norristown, PA and Marisa Buthusiem and her husband, Tom, of S. Philadelphia, PA; two nieces, Rebecca and Katherine Redcay; maternal grandparents, Leroy and Edith (Wade) Shaw of Plymouth, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to Susan's Memorial Service at Riverside Cemetery Chapel, 200 S. Montgomery Ave., W. Norriton, PA 19403 on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
