Suzanne M. Spollen

Suzanne M. (Sweeney) Spollen passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020, surrounded by her family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 90. Suzanne was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and gardening, but her true love in life was spending time with her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 17, 1930, Suzanne was a daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Woods) Sweeney. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 67 years, Francis J. Spollen; children: Mary T. (Stephen) Skilton, Michael (Laura) Spollen, Francis (Paula) Spollen, John (Sue) Spollen, Kate (Kurt) Hayn, and Daniel Spollen; 17 grandchildren: Stephen, Brian, Kevin, Sean, Pete, Brigid, Jack, Timothy, Scott, Francis, Kyle, Kevin, Erin, Meghan, Ryan, Trevor, and Danielle; 6 great-grandchildren: Jane, Sophia, Riley, Freya, Kallie, and Paige; sisters, Catherine Prendergast and Theresa (John) Albright; a cousin, Dennis (Virginia) Woods; and many nephews, nieces, and other family members. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Spollen and his wife, Sue; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Spollen; a brother-in-law, William Prendergast; and a cousin, Thomas Woods and his wife, Mary. Suzanne’s Funeral Mass will be held at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 10:30am. Internment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. Her viewing will be Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA. Masks and social distancing are required both days.
