Sylvia Jane Beale

Sylvia Jane “Gram” Beale (Phillips) Jane passed away on August 7, 2016 at Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale. She was 86. Born in Norristown, PA on December 25, 1929 to the late Kathryn and Bill Phillips. Jane was one of six children. Jane was a homemaker who loved to cook, bake, and sew. She enjoyed her gardens and feeding the birds. Her family was the most important part of her life. Jane was the wife of Thomas Earl Beale who passed away on March 14, 2003. She is survived by her daughters Wendy Nyce (Dave) of Trooper and Jory Beale of Spring City; brothers George Phillips of Lakeville, PA and Robert Phillips of Quakertown, PA; three grandchildren, David Nyce, Donna Harter (David) and Chip Minnick; three great grandchildren, Anthony Minnick, Ryan Harter and Patrick Harter. A memorial service will be help on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 12 pm at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 241 Perkiomen Ave, Schwenksville, PA. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Main Line Animal Rescue.
