Thelma J Hamlin

Hamlin, Thelma J. (nee Jenkins) died on May 2, 2017 at Phoenixville Hospital, Hospice Care. She was 87 years old. Thelma was the daughter of the late Howard Jenkins and Florence Freas. She was born in Norristown, then lived in Eagleville for 65 years with her husband, the love of her life, John R. Hamlin Jr. Thelma worked at Synthane Taylor. She enjoyed her family, gardening, crocheting, and riding on the back of Jack’s motorcycle. Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Hamlin Jr.; daughter, Deborah (Hamlin) Moore; brothers, Joseph Jenkins and Kenneth Jenkins. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Andrien (Gene) of Narvon; sons, John R. Hamlin III (Suzanne) of Salford and James Hamlin of Eagleville; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home 101 N. Park Ave. (Route 363 Trooper) Norristown, PA 19403 from 10-11:00 am. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Wentz’s Church Cemetery in Skippack, PA.
